Crowns

Badly broken down teeth and root treated teeth can be strengthened and improved in appearance significantly, by crowning. Porcelain fused to metal alloy or all ceramic crowns can be provided. Full gold crowns are also available. We also provide porcelain veneer facings which require minimal preparation and can cosmetically enhance the appearance of a discoloured tooth considerably.

UR1 Crown replaced with an all ceramic E-max Crown on a Zirconia base. This tooth has been root filled and has a cast metal post/core.

LR6 and LR7 restored with all zirconia cad/cam crowns.

UR2 and UL2 porcelain fused metal Crowns with dark cervical margins replaced with all ceramic Zirconia Crowns.

UR1 and UL1 Porcelain Jacket Crowns with open margins replaced with all Ceramic Zirconia Crowns.

A full gold crown restoration of a cracked porcelain crown. An interim aluminium temporary crown was used.

Cracked UR7 stabilised with an interim stainless steel circumferential band and a Glass ionomer build up. UR7 was then root filled and restored with a Panavia 21 bonded amalgam core and a Precious Metal Alloy Crown.
